December 2015:
Dear all, Let me start by apologising for not providing you with a november reading. For the next week (offer ends 8th December 2015 at 8pm) anyone who wishes can ask me for a free 3 cards reading to make up for this. And in the mean time here is my reading for the month of December: themes for this month: family care warmth meditation regrouping confusion financial doubts reassessing priorities Needless to say, for a lot of us, with Christmas approaching, December will have a lot to do with our families. And this reading really emphasises on this. This means that the people who live for caring for their families will have an amazing time and the people who need to resource and recover from whatever this year threw at them will benefit from family time. Remember that in the UK, where I am based, we tend to suffer quite strongly from the SAD. Literally, the cold long winter and shorter day light tend to bring on bouts of depression and gloomy feel inside. This is where the word warmth comes in. In countries like Denmark, Sweden... although their days are incredibly short and weather really cold, they seem to have been recorded as countries having the biggest number of happy inhabitants. Although I fail to see how one can actually accurately measure something like this, this research actually had one interesting point: the reason why they remain happy through the winter. They apparently have a name for it in their own language, it is the warmth someone feels inside when feeling cosy and physically warm while relaxing and socialising. For example how we feel at a bonfire night, or having a warm soup by the fire with friends, or my favourite: game night. Try to build yourself a winter coping plan that is bullet proof. This is the month that can start it all and can help you make it to the other side of the winter with a smile. Some of you may already be heading to that direction as I sure am, and since I have been going to bonefire nights, cards nights (the playing kind lol)... I am coping so much more easily with winter and tend to not get ill so often as I used to. What is your trick to go through the winter in one piece? Please leave comments bellow this post on my website. On another subject, there will be, as for most people at this time of the year, quite a bit of juggling with money to make sure to make both ends meet. So please try to keep your mind as clear as possible with your spending, decide what your priority is but make sure not to put yourself in financial trouble this month. Find the strength to stick with the plan. Finally, as this month tends to generally bring some stress and confusion, the cards are advising to really make sure to take time for ourself throughout to be sure to help us cope better. It is not about fighting situations head on this month but rather to study the situation, and if it feels like there is no solution in sight, then change your perspective, approach the problem from a different angle. For example, one part of your family wants to go for a walk in the park, and the other side of your family wants to go eat out, on the same day... why not have a winter picnic with everyone together? That is just an example to show we often give ourselves problems which really are not a true problem if we give it some thinking. I wish everyone who is celebrating Christmas a Very Merry one. And for those of you who don't have an amazing month of December.
